MiniMUN- D/L/037

Come along to one of UNA-York’s signature events, the MiniMUN. This one-day simulation of what an actual Model UN conference looks and feels like will prepare delegates to excel in this field and give them a taste of what to expect when they come, while still having fun and communicating the rules in an accessible manner. It will serve as a valuable introduction to resolution writing and the later stages of committee. Presenting three committees, chaired by our training officers and senior delegates it will cater for all delegates, from those who have just started to those who are hardened veterans. This event was so popular last year that an extra one was organised due to the critical acclaim it reached, and several committee members attribute this event as the main reason they remained part of the club. Sign up for this event here: www.unayork.co.uk/minimun

UNA York Introductory Meeting- SLB/118

Come along to the first meeting of one of York's most successful societies as we begin the year discussing international issues. Learn about what we do, how you can get involved and even get started with a debate on nuclear proliferation in North Korea. It should be a relatively relaxed session where everyone can get used to what Model United Nations is, and what the UNA does during the year. View the Facebook event here
